CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. -- Bradley scratched out two runs on just four singles, but Tennessee Tech's Stephanie Fischer had a two-run double in the top of the fifth inning to help the Golden Eagles to a 4-2 win Saturday afternoon at the Frost Classic in Chattanooga, Tenn.

The Braves (1-4 overall) managed just four singles in the game, but scratched out two run to tie the score before Fischer's two-run double in the fifth inning gave Tennessee Tech a 4-2 lead.

The Golden Eagles scored first, plating two runs in the top of the third inning. Lindsay Williams singled to lead off the frame and moved to second on a sacrifice bunt. Williams scored from second base on a Samantha Lovelady one-out single through the right side. Lovelady moved to second on a fielder's choice before scoring on a Kacy Bennett single to center.

Bradley tied the score in the fourth inning, however. Back-to-back singles by senior Brittany Mynsberge and junior Holly Rogers and a wild pitch put runners at second and third with no outs. Junior Shayna Bradford hit a fly ball to center field to score pinch runner Stephanie Ramsey on a sacrifice fly and Rogers later scored on a suicide squeeze to knot the score at 2-2.

Fischer put Tennessee Tech back on top in the top of the fifth with a two-out double to right field that gave the Golden Eagles a 4-2 lead.

Tennessee Tech's Rachael Darr kept the Braves from mounting a comeback attempt as she allowed just one base runner in the final three innings. Bradford was the only Brave to reach base in the final three frames, smacking a two-out single through the right side of the infield in the sixth.

Freshman Rebecca Bishop suffered the loss, giving up six hits and four runs in four and two-third innings. Bishop fell to 0-2 on the year with the loss.

Bradley closes out play at the Frost Classic in Chattanooga, Tenn., Sunday against Virginia at 9 a.m.
