The Braves (1-4 overall) managed just four singles in the game, but scratched out two run to tie the score before Fischer's two-run double in the fifth inning gave Tennessee Tech a 4-2 lead.
The Golden Eagles scored first, plating two runs in the top of the third inning. Lindsay Williams singled to lead off the frame and moved to second on a sacrifice bunt. Bradley tied the score in the fourth inning, however. Back-to-back singles by senior Brittany Mynsberge and junior Holly Rogers and a wild pitch put runners at second and third with no outs. Freshman Rebecca Bishop suffered the loss, giving up six hits and four runs in four and two-third innings. Bishop fell to 0-2 on the year with the loss.
