CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Six top finishes highlighted Saturday's action for the Bradley Track & Field team at the Southern Illinois Spring Classic in Carbondale, Ill.
Senior Sarah McKay had the best individual finish of the day with a sixth place finish in the javelin with a toss of 30.68 meters (100'-08”).
Senior Jackee Brannan also posted a top 10 finish in the field with an eighth place showing in the shot put with a throw of 13.00 meters (42-08.00). McKay placed 14th in the shot put with a toss of 12.02 meters (39-05.25).

Sophomore Jennifer Jenkins finished ninth in the hammer throw with a throw of 46.07 meters (151-02), while Brannan was 11th overall with a throw of 44.21 meters (145-00).
Freshman Niobra Peterson had the best individual finish on the track for the Braves with a seventh place showing in the 100 meter-dash with a time of 12.35. Peterson was also Bradley's top finisher in the 200 meters, running a 25.82.
Sophomore Sarah Westrick clocked a 2:21.31 to place eighth in the 800 meters while senior Tiffany Mack was 11th overall at 2:24.13.
Bradley also placed fifth in the 4x400 meter relay as Peterson, Westrick, Maya Monitto-Weber and Rachel Redenius ran a 4:05.61
The Braves return to action April 1-2 at the Missouri Relays.
