All fans are asked to wear red for the season-opener and the goal of filling Carver Arena with a solid red look will be enhanced by a t-shirt promotion. Aided by the financial support of “Red-Out” sponsors Junction City Ventures, Maui Jim and Methodist Medical Center, everyone in attendance Nov. 11 will receive a commemmorative t-shirt, as well as a commemmorative Sweet 16 rally towel sponsored by the Braves Club. Bradley will celebrate the team's run to the 2006 NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 in a pregame ceremony, which will include the unveiling of a new rafters banner. In addition the popular act “Quick Change” will perform during halftime. Already well-known by Bradley Basketball fans, the “Quick Change” magic duo gained national notoriety this summer by advancing to the finals of the NBC reality show America's Got Talent.
Ticket prices for Bradley men's basketball games at Carver Arena are $8, $12 and $18 based on location. Single-game tickets for the Nov. 11 game versus DePaul, as well as the Nov. 4 exhibition versus Northwest Missouri State, are currently available at the Bradley Ticket Office in Robertson Memorial Fieldhouse (309-677-2625).
In addition to increasing Bradley's already impressive overall attendance at Carver Arena, which traditionally ranks among the top 50 in the nation, the department of athletics is working to also increase the general student body attendance at games. A popular new iniative this fall has been the introduction of the Red Pride student rewards program, which awards prizes to all student participants who achieve various point levels based on their attendance at games. The student who receives the most points will receive a $1500 travel package. For more information on the Red Pride, visit www.bubraves.com.
