PEORIA, Ill. -- Senior Amber DeBroux recorded a team-high 10 kills to move into 18th place on Bradley's career kills list, but Missouri State dominated play at the net to sweep the Braves 30-26, 30-24, 30-18 in Missouri Valley Conference volleyball action Saturday night at Robertson Memorial Field House.

DeBroux finished the match with a team-high 10 kills to pass Lisa Gehlhaar for 18th on Bradley's career kills list, pushing her career total to 763. She is now 64 kills behind former teammate Briony Hammet for 17th in program history. The Braves couldn't muster enough offense against Missouri State, however, hitting .091 on the night as the Bears owned a 51-36 advantage in digs and 14-5 edge in blocks.

Bradley (5-18 overall, 2-9 MVC) trailed 26-25 in game one after a Missouri State attack error, but kills by Sarah Lansing, Katelyn Panzau and Erin O'Connor highlighted a 4-1 Bears' run that closed out the 30-26 victory for MSU.

Missouri State (17-5 overall, 9-2 MVC) held a 22-20 lead, when the Bears broke open game two with a 5-0 run. Jamie Adams got things rolling with a kill for Missouri State and an MSU block was followed by a Bradley ball handling error. A Sara Thomas kill and another ball handling error on the Braves capped the 5-0 run that gave the Bears a 27-20 lead. O'Connor put the finishing touches on game two, finding the floor with one of her five game-two kills to seal the 30-24 win.

The Braves trailed 17-13 midway through game three, when the Bears took control of the game, scoring 13 of the final 18 points to close out the match with a 30-18 victory. Bradley hit .026 in game three, compared to .306 for Missouri State and the Bears owned a 16-12 edge in digs in the final game.

DeBroux led the Braves offensively with her 10 kills, while fellow senior Kelly Niemeyer and sophomore Katrina Goncher both added eight kills. Niemeyer helped highlight Bradley's defensive efforts with a team-best eight digs.

O'Connor led all players with 13 kills, but was one of five Missouri State players to boast seven or more kills. Panzau finished with seven kills, 39 assists, six digs and four blocks, while Sarah Lansing added seven kills and match-high nine blocks. The Bears boasted a .205 attack percentage and posted their 13th consecutive victory in the series.

Bradley returns to action Friday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. at Evansville.
