PEORIA, Ill. -- The Bradley men's basketball team has four road games remaining in the 2005-06 regular season and the Department of Athletics has arranged fan bus trips for two of those games: Feb. 11 at Illinois State and Feb. 22 at #24 Northern Iowa.
Interstate 74 rivals Bradley and Illinois State will clash tonight at Carver Arena and fans wishing to see the rematch Feb. 11 at Redbird Arena in Normal may reserve their seat on the bus through Feb. 9. The cost for the trip is $15 per person and includes a seat on the bus and a game ticket. The bus(es) will depart from Robertson Memorial Fieldhouse parking lot Feb. 11 at 2:30 p.m. for the 4:05 contest and will return immediately after the game.
Bradley will shoot for a sweep against the nationally-ranked Panthers Feb. 22 in the final men's basketball game at the UNI-Dome. The cost for the UNI bus trip is $40 per person, which also includes a seat on the bus and a game ticket. The bus is tentatively scheduled to depart Robertson Fieldhouse at 1:30 p.m., but may change after the game's start time is announced by the Missouri Valley Conference Thursday. The reservation deadline for the UNI trip is Feb. 17.
Reservations for both bus trips may be made by contacting the Bradley Ticket Office in Robertson Fieldhouse at 309/677-2625. In addition to the bus trips, fans may purchase tickets for the road games at Missouri State (Saturday), Indiana State (Feb. 8) and Illinois State (Feb. 11) through the Bradley Ticket Office. Individual, upper bowl tickets for the rematch against the Redbirds in Normal are available for $3.
Bradley is 12-7 overall and tied for fifth in the Missouri Valley Conference standings with a 6-5 league record. The Braves have won three straight and four of their last five games.
