PEORIA, Ill. -- Due to a forecast that is calling for frigid temperatures and snow in Clarksville, Tenn., Bradley Baseball's opening weekend has been cancelled.
The Braves originally were scheduled to depart for Clarksville today for a split doubleheader Saturday versus Birmingham Southern and host Austin Peay and a single-game Sunday against the host Governors. Instead, the Braves will begin their 106th baseball season next weekend with a three-game series at Tennessee-Martin. The teams will play a doubleheader Feb. 25 and a single game Feb. 26 in Martin, Tenn.
