The Braves (22-10) will take a charter flight at 7 p.m. this evening from Peoria to Oakland, where they will face the regional's #1 seed and third-ranked Memphis (32-3) Thursday night. The players will be loading the vans at the field house at 6:15 this evening for the ride to the airport.
By knocking off No. 4 seed Kansas and No. 5 seed Pittsburgh last week in Auburn Hills, Mich., Bradley has become the fourth No. 13 seed in the history of the NCAA men's basketball tournament to reach the Sweet 16 and the first since Oklahoma in 1999. The Braves will try to become the first-ever No. 13 seed to reach the Elite Eight when they take on the Conference USA Tigers Thursday night. Thursday's game will tip off at 6:27 p.m. (CST) and will be shown live in the Peoria area by local CBS affiliate WMBD-TV (31)
