NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Belmont pitchers limited Bradley to just 11 hits and struck out 18 Braves as the Bruins swept a non-conference doubleheader Saturday afternoon in Nashville, Tenn., defeating Bradley 7-0 and 2-0.

Charles Lee pitched a complete-game three-hit shutout in the opener for Belmont, striking out eight and walking one. Jon Camp was one of four Belmont hitters with multi-hit games in the opening, going 2-for-4 with three RBI. Camp had a two-run triple during a three-run sixth inning for the Bruins and added an RBI single in the eighth to help Belmont cruise to a 7-0 victory in the opener.

Brandon Magee fell to 1-1 on the year for the Braves, taking the loss in the opener. Magee struck out six and walked two in seven and one-third innings. He surrendered 10 hits and seven run, six of which were earned.

The Braves (2-4 overall) managed eight hits in the nightcap and Collin Walker limited Belmont to three hits in his complete game effort, but the Bruins scratched across two runs to complete the sweep.

Belmont (5-4 overall) pushed two runs across in the bottom of the fifth inning. Derek Wiley led off the frame with a single and Matt Warnat followed with a single of his own. Sam Grooms knocked in Wiley from second base with a double to left field. Warnat later scored on a groundout by Carlo Testa giving the Bruins a 2-0 lead.

The Braves best scoring opportunity of the day came in the top of the ninth inning. Dan Brewer had a one-out single and Peter Malinowski later had a two-out pinch-hit single, before Brad Jones drew a walk to load the bases. Chris Jones relieved Belmont starter Josh Moffit with two outs in the ninth and struck out the only batter he faced as the Braves left the bases loaded to end the game.

Walker earned his first decision of the spring, falling to 0-1 on the year. He struck out seven and walked one, while giving up just three hits over eight innings.

Moffitt struck out nine Bradley batters and improved to 1-0 on the year, as he combined with Manning for the shutout. Moffitt picked up his first save of the season.

Bradley will face Belmont in a pair of seven inning games Sunday in Nashville, Tenn.
