PEORIA, Ill. -- Soccer player Chris Dunsheath (Rockford, Ill./Boylan) was named the B-Club Most Outstanding Male Athlete of the Year and volleyball player Lindsay Stalzer (Kewanee, Ill./Kewanee) and women's golfer Meaghan LeBlanc (Calgary, Alberta/Western Canada) shared the B-Club Most Outstanding Female Athlete honors of 2005-06, announced by Bradley Director of Athletics Ken Kavanagh.

A consensus All-American, Dunsheath joined Tim Regan and four-time winner Gavin Glinton as the only soccer players to earn the B-Club Most Outstanding Athlete honor. Dunsheath played every minute in goal for the Braves, helping Bradley to a 15-6-1 overall record and regular-season Missouri Valley Conference title with a 5-1-1 league record.

He finished the season with a 0.81 goals against average and school record 11 shutouts, helping Bradley to its third NCAA Tournament appearance. A first-team Scholar All-American selection by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and MVC Defensive Player of the Year, he finished third on the NCAA's list for minutes played by a goalkeeper (8,197) and set the MVC career shutouts record with 27.5. Dunsheath was a four-time all-Valley selection and three-time first-team MVC Scholar-Athlete.

Stalzer became the first volleyball player to earn the B-Club Most Outstanding Female Athlete of the Year honor. The 2005 Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year, she led the nation in kills, setting an MVC season record with a national best 720 kills in 2005. The first three-time all-MVC first-team pick in Bradley volleyball history, Stalzer also set the school and league career records with 1,948 kills.

The third player in program history to earn first-team Valley Scholar-Athlete honors three times, she was voted to the 2005 ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District V third team.

LeBlanc earned Most Outstanding Female Athlete of the Year honors for the second consecutive year and joins former cross country and track standout Mary Ellen Hill-Schupbach as the only female student-athletes to repeat as winner of the award.

LeBlanc is one of only two women in the history of the MVC to win back-to-back individual women's golf championships and collect four All-MVC awards (2003, 04, 05 and 06). She claimed medalist honors in three of the final four regular-season tournaments and helped Bradley to the team title at the State Farm MVC Championship and third NCAA Regional appearance. She set a Bradley season record with her 76.6 stroke average in 2005-06 and also set the Braves career mark with a 78.2 average.
