Fellow junior Tommie Ackerman (Peoria, Ill./Peoria Christian/Illinois Central) fired the low round of the tournament for the Braves, firing a 70 during the second round and was tied for 20th overall at 232.

The Braves held a 12-shot edge on Missouri Valley Conference rival Creighton, which finished third at 902 (304-304-294), with IUPUI (4th - 903) and tournament-host Butler (5th - 911) rounding out the field, respectively.
