Evansville was clinging to a 25-24 lead, when Sally Kelepka found the floor with a kill and a pair of Bradley errors pushed the Purple Aces lead to 28-24. Sophomore Amy Reichel (Schaumburg, Ill./Schaumburg) and Collins notched back-to-back kills to make it a two-point game (28-26) , but Ginta Gabruseva had a pair of kills to close out the 30-27 UE victory.

Game four included 10 ties and three lead changes before Evansville eventually made another late push to pull out a 30-25 win to close out the match. Goncher and Austin recorded a block to tie the game at 23-23, before Anne Teegardin entered the match for the first time and tallied all three of her kills in the closing moments to help Aces seize control. Teegardin's first kill of the night was followed by a Bradley attack error and another Teegardin kill that gave UE a 26-23 lead.

Sophomore Kaitlyn Comiskey (Crystal Lake, Ill./South) responded with a kill to end the short Evansville spurt, but another Teegardin kill was followed by an Evansville ace that pushed the lead to 28-24.
