PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley senior sweeper Joe Donoho (Tampa, Fla./Jesuit H.S.) has earned a spot on the College Soccer News 11-player national Team of the Week for the second time this season, according to the publication of the team this morning at www.collegesoccernews.com.

Donoho, who earned his first spot on the squad Oct. 22, helped the Braves (12-5-3, 4-0-2) secure a share of their third straight Valley regular-season championship by assisting the tying goal and scoring the game-winning goal in a span of just 1-minute, 12-seconds during Saturday's 4-1 victory against Western Kentucky.

The starting sweeper in all 20 games this season, Donoho leads all Missouri Valley Conference participants by playing 1854 minutes this season, coming out of just two games for a total of only 11 minutes.  While leading a defense that is second in The Valley in goals against average in all games (0.92) and first in league play (0.78), Donoho also is the second-leading scorer in conference play.  Overall, his six goals and 14 points rank second on the team and he leads the Braves with four game-winning goals.

Led by Donoho's end-to-end play this season, Bradley completed its first-ever undefeated run through the Valley to become the third program in league history to win as many as three straight regular-season titles, joining Creighton from 1992 through 1996 and SMU from 2000 through 2002.  Although the Braves shared the 2007 title with Creighton, Bradley will be the top seed for this week's State Farm MVC Tournament and will play the winner of Wednesday's first-round game between Drake/Eastern Illinois in Friday's 7:30 p.m. semifinal at Creighton's Morrison Stadium.  Creighton will play the Evansville/Missouri State first-round winner in Friday's 5 p.m. semi and the championship game will be played at 1 p.m. Sunday and once again will be televised live on FSN Midwest and Comcast SportsNet Chicago.
