CHICAGO ? Bradley senior guard Jeremy Crouch drained 5-of-7 3-pointers to highlight a game-high 21 points and the visiting Braves (5-2) outscored Loyola Chicago 38-11 in the game's final 17:05 to earn a 64-47 non-conference men's basketball victory Wednesday night at the Gentile Center.

Bradley's other senior guard, Daniel Ruffin, chipped in with 10 points and six assists for the Braves, increasing his nation's leading career total to 525 assists.  Loyola guard J.R. Blount led the Ramblers (2-3) with 18 points and junior forward Leon Young added 10 points, while tying Bradley forward Theron Wilson for game-high rebounding honors with eight.

After Loyola opened the game with a 9-0 burst, Bradley trailed by as many as 11 points in the first half and still trailed 36-26 after a Blount jumper with 17:18 left in the game.  Ruffin started Bradley's rally with a layup with 17:05 left.  With the Ramblers held to a single Blount jumper during an 8-minute stretch, the Braves eventually grabbed their first lead of the game on freshman guard Sam Maniscalco's layup with 9:56 left.

Ruffin eventually gave the Braves the lead for good, 42-40, by making two free throws with 8:39 to go and Bradley outscored its hosts 24-7 down the stretch.

The Braves hit 63.6 percent (14-22) of their field goal attempts in the second half, while limiting the Ramblers to a 7-for-20 effort after the break.  Loyola was particularly cold from long range, making just 2-of-14 3-point attempts for the game, including an 0-for-8 effort in the second half.

Crouch, who has made 10-of-14 3-point attempts in two games in Chicago this season, scored 13 of his 21 points in the first half.  But while Crouch was making 5-of-9 overall field goal attempts in the first half, his teammates combined to make only 4-of-18 (.222) shots from the floor in the first 20 minutes.

The Braves snapped a three-game road losing streak in the series, dating back to a 69-64 victory Dec. 9, 1992.

With the road win secure, Bradley will look to extend its 28-game non-conference home winning streak Saturday night when the Braves host Southeast Missouri State in a 7:05 p.m. contest at Carver Arena.  Flippenout, an extreme trampoline performance team made up of former Olympic gymnasts, will perform during halftime Saturday.  Tickets for regular-season Bradley men's basketball home games range from $8-18, based on location, and are available for purchase in person at the Robertson Fieldhouse Box Office and the Carver Arena Box Office, or online at www.bubraves.com.
