PEORIA, Ill. -- As the season-opener Saturday at Illinois-Chicago creeps closer, Insight Communications continues to work at expanding its network of cable providers that will air its nine productions of Bradley men's basketball games this season.  Insight today announced the addition of three Mediacom service areas to the network, which will mean its nine productions will be available from near the Illinois-Indiana border to the Iowa border across Central Illinois.

Insight's package of Bradley Basketball telecasts will begin this weekend when Frank Bussone and Chuck Buescher describe the action of Saturday's 7:05 p.m. opener at Illinois-Chicago.  The games will air on Insight Communications Channel 44 in Peoria.  Insight customers in Bloomington, Ill., can view the games on Channel 22, while Insight subscribers in Galesburg, Morton and Pekin may view the games on Channel 74.  The addition of three Mediacom master footprints -- Gibson City, Good Hope and Kincaid -- to the Bradley Basketball TV Network will provide coverage to many of the smaller communities across Central Illinois, all on Mediacom Channel 78.
