KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Western Michigan women's tennis team, which is ranked 70th in the nation, blanked Bradley in dual match action Saturday afternoon at the West Hills Athletic Club in Kalamazoo, Mich.  The loss moves Bradley to 1-3 on the year in dual competition, while Western Michigan improved to 6-3 overall.

Senior Teri Chan (Gurnee, Ill./Warren) was the only Bradley player to win a set against the Broncos, falling 2-6, 6-2, 10-5 at #3 singles to Noriko Saruta.  Fellow senior Elise Montrose (Portland, Ore./Sunset) fell at #1 singles, dropping a 6-1, 6-0 decision to Kerstin Pahl, while Emily Regenold (Cincinnati, Ohio/Princeton) was a 6-0, 6-1 loser to Carrie Jenmaire at #2 singles.  Kelly Donohue (Louisville, Ky./Sacred Heart Academy) lost 6-1, 6-1 to Priyanka Parekh at #4 singles and Jessica Buterbaugh (Paradise Valley, Ariz./Chaparral) lost 6-2, 6-1 at #5 singles to Emily Dudzik.  Milica Zivanovic completed the sweep for the Broncos with a 6-1, 6-0 victory against Kim Braun (Racine, Wisc./The Prairie School) at #6 singles.

Regenold and Krubeck fell at #3 doubles, 8-5,  to the duo of Parekah and Dudzik in the most competitive doubles match, while the combos of Montrose/Donhue and Buterbaugh/Braun both fell by 8-1 tallies at #1 and #2 doubles, respectively.

Bradley is back in action Saturday when the Braves head to Fort Wayne, Ind. to battle Detroit-Mercy, Robert Morris and IPFW.
