Single-Season Attendance Record Will Fall

Bradley's single-season home attendance record will fall when the Braves host Providence Wednesday night ... Bradley's single-season attendance mark of 160,263 fans was set during a 16-game home schedule in 1987-88 ... Bradley's season attendance total to date this year is 157,072, just 3,191 shy of the 1987-88 record ... In addition, Bradley has averaged 9,817 fans during the 16 home games to date this season, the third-best per game average in school history (10,178 in 1999-2000 and 10,016 in 1987-88).

Wednesday's game will be the seventh NIT game Bradley has hosted at Carver Arena ... Bradley's all-time NIT home attendance figures are listed below:

Ticket Sales Update

As of 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon approximately 2,500 still remained for Wednesday night's game ... All open seats in Carver Arena will be available to the general public all day Wednesday at the Robertson Fieldhouse Box Office, the Carver Arena Box Office and all TicketMaster locations ... Bradley's NIT ticket prices for the general public are $9, $12, $18, $25 and $30, while Bradley University students with a valid ID may purchase tickets for $1.

 

WEEK to Televise First Round Game

After the ESPN family of networks opted not to televise Wednesday night's game between Bradley and Providence, WEEK has purchased the broadcast rights and will televise the game in the Central Illinois market ... Veteran WEEK sports anchor Lee Hall will handle the play-by-play duties and former Bradley sports information director Joe Dalfonso will work as the analyst ... In addition, Cox Sports TV 3 will carry the WEEK telecast in the Providence market ... Satellite coordinates will be made available Wednesday.
