Former Bradley Baseball pitcher Brock Till (Lewistown, Ill./Lewistown H.S.), now a relief pitcher in the Cincinnati Reds organization, was promoted to the Triple-A Louisville Bats last week.

After going 3-1 with a 3.94 earned run average in 27 appearances for the Chattanooga Lookouts in the Double-A Southern League, Till made three appearances thus far with Louisville.  To date, Till has worked 2.2 innings in his three outings, and although he has allowed seven hits, he has yet to allow an earned run for the Bats.

Louisville is currently involved in a four-game series at Norfolk.  Playing in the International League, the closest the Bats will come to Peoria will be Aug. 13-15 and Aug. 31-Sept. 1 when Louisville visits Indianapolis.

A four-year hurler for the Braves, Till was drafted by Cincinnati in the 17th round of the 2003 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft.  He has steadily worked his through the Reds' organization, posting a combined 8-1 record with six saves in 49 relief appearances last season while splitting his time between high Single-A Sarasota and Chattanooga.
