PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley men's basketball coach Jim Les will begin making his bi-weekly appearances on WMBD AM 1470 this morning when he joins Dan DiOrio and Greg Batton for the final 30 minutes of their show. In addition to his weekly Monday morning appearances, Les will make a similar half-hour appearance on Saturday morning's The Saturday Sports Page with Shaun Newell.
Fans may listen to both shows live by visiting 1470wmbd.com and the Bradley Sports Information Office will archive Les' appearances for on-demand streaming at www.BradleyBraves.com.
Les is preparing for his seventh year as the head coach at Bradley. The Braves will play the first of their two preseason exhibition games Nov. 3 when they host NCAA Division II Lewis in a 7:05 p.m. contest at Carver Arena. The preseason opener versus the Flyers is not part of the 15-game season-ticket package. Instead, fans may purchase $10 general admission tickets for the game, which also will be good for entry into the inaugural "Fandemonium" experience in the Peoria Civic Center Hall D. "Fandemonium" will feature four zones of activity prior to Monday's game: a Games and Contests Zone, the Methodist Family Fun Zone, the Braves Interaction Zone and a Food/Drink Zone. "Fandemonium" doors will open at 4:30 p.m. and Les will be available for autographs in the Braves Interaction Zone from 5-6 o'clock.
