Season's Final Week
? Bradley will close out the 2007-08 regular season with a pair of games against two teams the Braves are battling for position in the upper half of the Missouri Valley Conference standings.
? Bradley (17-12, 9-7 MVC) begins the week tied with Creighton for fourth place in The Valley standings, one game behind third-place Southern Illinois.
? The Braves will host Southern Illinois Tuesday night in a 6 p.m. game to be televised nationally on ESPN2, then will visit Creighton Saturday at 7:05 p.m. in Omaha.
Les' 100th is A Big One
? Sixth-year Bradley head coach Jim Les made his 100th career win a big one, hitting the milestone with last Tuesday's 72-71 victory at #16 Drake.
? The win was Bradley's fourth against a nationally-ranked team the last three seasons and the first regular-season victory versus a team ranked as high as the Bulldogs since a 69-64 victory Feb. 21, 1985 at #12 Tulsa.
? Les is the seventh coach in Bradley history to record 100 wins and he begins this week with a 101-85 record.
All-Around Great Season
? Senior guard Jeremy Crouch did a little of everything in Bradley's two wins last week, but he has been playing a tremendous all-around game all season.
? Playing on an infected left knee, Crouch averaged 23.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.0 steal in Bradley's two wins last week, while also nailing the game-winning shot at #16 Drake.
? Crouch needs just six more steals to become the fifth Bradley player in the last 30 years to score 400 points (431), pull down 100 rebounds (109), dish out 75 assists (87) and snare 50 steals (44) in a season.
? The four Braves to hit the four marks include Valley Hall-of-Famers Mitchell Anderson and Hersey Hawkins, as well as more recent standouts Rob Dye and James Gillingham.
Records In Sight
? After making 10-of-18 (.625) 3-point field goal attempts in the two games last week, senior guard Jeremy Crouch is primed to set the Bradley records for 3-pointers in a season and a career.
? Averaging 3.0 treys per game this season, Crouch begins the week with 88 3-pointers this year and 232 in his career.
? Former Bradley sharpshooter Aaron Zobrist set the single-season school record with 90 3-pointers in 1996-97, helping him set the school's career mark with 233 from 1993-97.
Sharing The Wealth
? Senior point guard Daniel Ruffin leads the Braves with 123 assists this season, while freshman guard Sam Maniscalco (97) and senior guard Jeremy Crouch (87) are closing in on the century mark themselves.
? Bradley has tracked assists every year since 1965-66 and the 1985-86 campaign is the only season in which the Braves have boasted three players with 100 assists: Jim Les (275), Trevor Trimpe (127) and Hersey Hawkins (104).
Program Milestone Up Next
? Bradley will play the 2,500th game in program history Saturday when the Braves close out the regular-season at Creighton.
? The Braves rank 26th among NCAA Division I teams with 1,512 all-time victories and will begin the week with a 1,512-986 all-time record.
Chasing 300 Treys, Again
? Bradley became the first Missouri Valley Conference team to make 300 3-pointers in a season by draining 349 in 35 games (10.0 per game) last year.
? Averaging 9.3 treys per date this year, Bradley will need to increase its average to 10.3 in its next three games to guarantee consecutive seasons with at least 300 3-pointers.
Winning The Tight Ones
? With last Tuesday's 72-71 win at #16 Drake, Bradley improved to 5-1 in games decided by one possession (three points or less at the end of regulation) this season.
? Including a pair of overtime wins, Bradley is 10-3 (.769) the last two years in games when the teams have been separated by three points or less at the end of regulation.
Scoring Big
? In a streak extended when Jeremy Crouch scored 24 points Saturday versus Milwaukee, no Brave taller than 6-foot-5 has led the team in scoring since 6-foot-8 Zach Andrews (15 points) shared game-high honors with guard Will Franklin Feb. 3, 2007 at Illinois State.
? Including that game at ISU when Franklin shared game-high honors, seven different Braves standing no taller than 6-foot-5 have led the team in scoring in 43 consecutive games.
? With 21 points, Andrews was the outright team scoring leader Jan. 20, 2007 at Wichita State.
