Box Score BRADENTON, Fla. -- Bradley junior right-hander Collin Brennan took a no-hitter into the fifth inning of his 2008 season debut, helping the Braves (5-7) to a 4-1 victory versus Central Connecticut State Monday afternoon in the team's fourth game of its Spring Break trip at the IMG Academy.
Despite giving up the tying run in the sixth inning, reliever Kori Jensen (1-0) earned the win in relief by limiting the Blue Devils to the lone run on two hits in 4.0 innings of work. The Braves used three doubles to key a 3-run frame in the bottom half of the sixth to pull away from the 1-1 tie. Catcher Kevin Sullivan delivered the game-winning RBI by following Rob Elliott's one-out double with a double of his own.
More details to follow later this evening.
Bradley will continue play in Florida with a 2 p.m. (CST) game Tuesday versus Ohio State, then will wrap up the Spring Break trip with a 9:30 game Wednesday morning against Miami-Ohio.
