CBI Did You Know?  Part III

Bradley is one of 14 teams in the country to win at least 22 games and earn at least one postseason victory in each of the previous two seasons.  By beating Cincinnati in Wednesday's opening round of the inaugural College Basketball Invitational, Bradley completed one half of the formula to run its streak to three years.  With an 18-15 overall record, the Braves can complete the second half by winning the CBI.

To date, Michigan and Kentucky have fallen off the list of potential teams with a three-year run of 22 wins and a postseason victory.

By beating Cincinnati, 70-67, in the first round of the College Basketball Invitational Wednesday night, Bradley has won a postseason game for a third consecutive season.  The current streak marks just the second time in program history the Braves have won postseason games in three consecutive seasons:  Bradley went 2-2 in the 1949 NIT, went a combined 5-2 in the 1950 NIT (2-1) and NCAA Tournament (3-1) and 2-1 in the 1951 National Campus Tournament.

Bradley (18-15) has added an additional ticket option for Monday's second-round game in the CBI versus Ohio (20-12) and will allow fans to purchase 2-for-1 tickets in Priority IV ($9) sections at Carver Arena.  Season-ticket holders have until 7 p.m. tonight and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday to purchase their seats at the Robertson Fieldhouse Box Office for the CBI second-round game.  The general public may begin purchasing tickets online ? www.BradleyBraves.com -- at 5 p.m. Friday, then from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Robertson Fieldhouse Box Office and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on campus Monday or until game time Monday at the Carver Arena Box Office.  The 2-for-1 ticket option will only be available in person at the Robertson Fieldhouse Box Office Saturday and Monday.  Bradley University students also may purchase tickets for Monday's game for $1 at the Robertson Fieldhouse Box Office.
