CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -- A Saturday snow storm has caused another postponement in the start of the Governor's Classic baseball triangular at Austin Peay Staate University. The three-team event involving Bradley, Austin Peay and Dayton will not begin until Sunday evening and the Braves (3-3) will not play until Monday.
Bradley will take on Dayton in a 10 a.m. game Monday at Raymond C. Hand Park, then will face host Austin Peay at 1:30 p.m., before returning home.
The Braves originally were schedule for a split-doubleheader Saturday against the same two teams with a final game Sunday against the host Governors, but frigid temperatures and the forecast for snow forced a re-shuffling of the triangular event. Bradley already had Wednesday's game at Saint Louis postponed due to a midweek snow storm that blew threw Missouri and southern Illinois.
