PEORIA, Ill. -- The opening game of the Missouri Valley Conference baseball series between Bradley (16-17, 7-5 MVC) and Missouri State (23-12, 8-4 MVC) has been postponed due to inclement weather and will be made up as part of a doubleheader Saturday at O'Brien Field.

Saturday's twinbill will start at noon and is scheduled to consist of two nine-inning games.  The series is slated to conclude with 1 p.m. game Sunday.

Riding a four-game Valley winning streak, Bradley enters the second half of the league race tied for fourth in the MVC standings and one game behind the third-place Bears.  The top six team in the final league standings will qualify for the 2008 State Farm MVC Tournament, May 21-24 at Wichita State's Eck Stadium.
