PEORIA, Ill. -- Adam Kimble (Minooka, Ill./Minooka H.S.), a rising senior member of the Bradley Baseball team, will appear on the Wednesday morning episode of the popular television game show "The Price is Right." Kimble taped the show June 23 and it will air tomorrow at 10 a.m. in Central Illinois on WMBD-TV (31).

Adam and his mother, Mary Kimble, got tickets for the studio taping of the show when the family scheduled a trip to California to visit Adam's brother, Andrew. They arrived at the studio at 4 a.m. for the 1 p.m. taping and were among the approximately 250 fans ultimately selected for the studio audience. Although the results of the show may not be revealed until it airs, Adam was the second audience member selected for Contestants Row.

Kimble has been used primarily as a utility player for the Braves during his first three seasons, appearing in 73 games, often as a pinch-hitter or defensive replacement at catcher or first base. Off the field, Kimble has excelled in the classroom. Majoring in communications (electronic media), Kimble has earned a spot on the Bradley Athletic Director's Honor Roll during each of his first six semesters and the Missouri Valley Conference Honor Roll in his first three years. A member of the Braves Council, Bradley's student-athlete advisory board, this past year, he will serve as board president during the 2008-09 academic year.
