CEDAR FALLS, Iowa ? Bradley opened a three-game Missouri Valley Conference road swing riding the longest win streak since the 2001-02 season, but hot-shooting Northern Iowa put an end to the Braves seven-game win streak with a 92-76 win against BU Saturday afternoon at the McLeod Center.

UNI's (6-9 overall, 4-1 MVC) Nicole Clausen hit four first-half three-pointers and helped the Panthers build a 20-point lead in the opening 20 minutes.  Junior Skye Johnson (Olympia Fields, Ill./Marian Catholic) had six points and an assist in the final 3:30 of the half to help the Braves trim the Northern Iowa lead to 50-36 at the half.  The Panthers shot 58 percent from the field and made 6-of-11 from beyond the three-point arc in the first half.

Bradley (13-3 overall, 4-1 MVC) scored the first six points of the second half to cut the UNI lead to single digits at 50-42, but UNI would use a 15-4 spurt to extend the lead back to 19 points (65-46) with just over 13 minutes remaining.

Sophomore Raisa Taylor (Decatur, Ill./Eisenhower) scored 10 of her 14 points during a three-and-a-half minute span to highlight a 13-4 run which pulled Bradley to within seven points (81-74) with just over two minutes to play.  Clausen pushed the UNI lead back to double digits (84-74) with 1:35 to play with her seventh three-pointer of the contest as the shot clock wound down.  The Panthers made all six free throw attempts in the final 70 seconds to close out the 92-76 win and end Bradley's seven-game win streak and five-game MVC regular-season win streak.

Senior Monica Rogers (Forsyth, Ill./St. Teresa/Hampton) posted her team-best sixth double-double of the year, finishing with a season-high 26 points to go along with a game-best 11 rebounds.  Johnson finished with 16 points and five assists, while Taylor added 14 points and made a career-best eight free throws in 28 minutes off the bench.  Sophomore Sonya Harris (Riverdale, Ill./Thornton) collected 12 points and four blocked shots in the loss.

Clausen tied a UNI record for three-pointers with seven and finished with 25 points.  Kim Wypiszynski added 24 points on 8-of-12 shooting while dishing out four assists.  Freshman Indy Uhlenhopp scored 16 points off the bench and K.K. Armstrong collected 10 points, six boards, six assists and four steals to highlight the victory.

With the loss the Braves are now in a three-way tie for first-place in the Missouri Valley Conference standings at 4-1.  The seven-game win streak was the longest since winning nine consecutive games to open the 2001-02 campaign and BU's five-game regular-season MVC win streak was the longest in program history.

Bradley returns to action Friday when the Braves continue a three-game Missouri Valley Conference road swing with a 7:35 p.m. game at Drake.  The game will be televised in the Peoria area on Fox Sports Midwest.
