Check out the progress of the seven former Bradley Baseball Braves who are continuing their careers in professional baseball.

Dan Brewer is hitting .257 in his first nine games with the Tampa Yankees since being promoted to the Single A Advanced team in the Florida State League.  Although his average has dropped from the .323 mark he enjoyed with the South Atlantic League's Charleston (S.C.) RiverDogs, Brewer has reached safely via a hit or a walk in eight of his first nine games with Tampa.

Collin Brennan is still looking for his first professional decision after two starts for the independent Gateway Grizzlies.  Although he has struggled a bit with his control ? four walks and three hit batsmen -- Brennan has struck out nine in his first 8.2 innings.

Ryan Curry has reached safely in seven consecutive games for the Jupiter Hammerheads in the Single A Advanced Florida State League.  Primarily playing second base for the Florida Marlins affiliate, Curry is batting .249 on the season

Ryan Eigsti is hitless in his last three games (0-7), dropping his season batting average to .214 for the Wilmington (Del.) Blue Rocks in the Single A Advanced Carolina League.  Eigsti has shown a good eye at the plate, however, drawing six walks in his last six games for the Kansas City Royals affiliate.

Brandon Magee did not factor in the decision in his only pitching appearance of the week for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, the Double A Eastern League affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays.  Magee allowed three runs on four hits in 4.1 innings Wednesday at Binghamton.  He remains 6-7 overall, including 4-5 for New Hampshire, on the season with a 4.92 earned run average.

Rob Scahill continued his strong start for the Tri-City (Wash.) Dust Devils in two appearances last week.  Pitching for the Colorado Rockies affiliate in the Single A Short Season Northwest League, Scahill allowed only one hit in 3.0 scoreless innings last Monday at Spokane.  He stretched his scoreless streak to start his pro career to 9.2 innings before running into 2-out trouble in the fourth inning Saturday at Salem-Keizer.

The right-hander allowed two runs in the fourth, but came out of the game with his Tri-City squad leading, 3-2.  Although Scahill is still looking for his first decision, he has not yet been forced to pitch from behind in his first three pro outings and he boasts a 1.80 earned run average.  Scahill has surrendered only four hits, walked just one and struck out 11 in 10.0 innings.

Brian Shouse remains on the Tampa Bay Rays disabled list and is projected to make his return from a left elbow strain in late July.
