São Carlos, Brazil -- After one long day in the bus, the Bradley men's basketball team arrived safe and sound in São Carlos Tuesday night and will begin preparations for four games in four days this morning.
There has been a change made to the team's tournament schedule: Bradley will play Bauru tonight instead of its originally-scheduled, lower division opponent. Like Bradley's other two opponents in pool play, Bauru competes in the Brazilian National League.
Several new photos from the trip, as well as blogs from Will Egolf and Andrew Warren have been added. Internet service at our hotel in São Carlos, however, is even worse than in Brazil, so future updates may become difficult. A reporter from the local TV station has agreed to allow Associate AD Bobby Parker to work from the station each night, so there is still hope for at least posting game recaps.
São Carlos is located about four hours northwest of the city of São Paulo in the state of São Paulo. It is a town of approximately 200,000 and the team's hotel (a Quality Inn) is located near a university.
