PEORIA, Ill. -- Senior Amy Reichel (Schaumburg, Ill./Schaumburg) and freshman Alise Tupuritis (Des Plaines, Ill./Maine West) each tallied 17 kills, while sophomore Annie Cave (Easton, Ill./Illini Central) added 12 kills to help power Bradley to a 25-23, 27-25, 25-27, 25-14 victory over Lehigh Saturday afternoon at the Markin Family Student Recreation Center. The Braves improved to 3-0 on the season with the victory and will face IUPUI later today for the tournament title.

Bradley (3-0 overall) needed a late rally to claim the opening set 25-23. Lehigh held a 23-22 lead, but the Braves received pair of Tupuritis kills and a Lehigh attack error to take the first set.

Lehigh (0-3 overall) rallied from a 24-21 deficit in the second set to take a 25-24 lead, when sophomore Caitlin Staib (Naperville, Ill./Naperville Central) found the floor with one of her five kills in the match to tie the set at 25-25. A Lehigh attack error was followed by a block by Staib and freshman setter Skylar Lesan (Solon, Iowa/Solon) as Bradley came back to take the set 27-25.

Much like the first two sets, the third set went back and forth and featured five lead changes and nine ties. Lehigh made a late push, trailing 23-21 before rallying for a 27-25 win.

With the Braves holding a 17-13 lead in the fourth set, Cave helped close out the Bradley victory, recording a kill and back-to-back aces to open an 8-1 BU spurt which gave the Braves a 25-14 victory.

Bradley improved to 3-0 for the first time since the 2000 season and has won four consecutive home matches for the first time since the 2005 campaign.

Reichel finished one kill short of matching a career high, notching 17 kills and hitting at a .517 clip. Tupuritis added her first career double-double with 17 kills and 16 digs. Lesan added four kills, 49 assists, three aces, seven digs and three blocks in the victory. Sophomore Genevieve Dejean (Naperville, Ill./Neuqua Valley) helped the defensive efforts, matching a season-high with 15 digs

Lehigh was paced by Mo McReynolds' 15 kills, while Angelika Kopacz was also in double figures with 14 kills. Emma Melendez led the Mountain Hawks with a match-high 19 digs.

Bradley closes out play at the Hotels at Grand Prairie Invitational at 7 p.m. against IUPUI at the Markin Family Student Recreation Center.
