PEORIA, Ill. - Bradley once again mounted a second-half rally, but visiting Eastern Illinois (2-3) closed the game with a 7-0 run to pull out a 63-56 non-conference men's basketball victory Wednesday night at Carver Arena and snap the Braves' 21-game November home winning streak.

Andrew Warren scored a game-high 23 points for Bradley (4-2), but Dodie Dunson was the only other double-digit scorer for the Braves with 13 points.  While the two senior guards combined to make 11-of-20 field goal attempts, including 6-of-10 from 3-point range, the rest of the team made just 7-of-29 overall from the field and 4-of-14 from behind the arc.

Curry McKinney led three Eastern Illinois players in double-figures with 22 points.  Tyler Laser added 17 and Jeremy Granger chipped in with 13 points.

Bradley faced its largest deficit of the season, 12 points, when McKinney made 1-of-2 free throw attempts for a 47-39 advantage with 12:01 remaining.  The Braves still trailed 54-43 with 7:48 remaining, but scored the game's next eight points and finally pulled even, 56-56, when Warren sank two free throws with 2:11 left.

Sam Maniscalco was whistled for a foul chasing Granger over a screen, though, and the EIU point guard sank both free throws with 1:47 left to give the Panthers a lasting lead.  The Braves committed two of their season-high 23 turnovers and missed their final four field goal attempts in the last 1:35 to stall their comeback bid.

The loss was just Bradley's third in 53 all-time November home games.

Bradley will return to action Tuesday when the Braves make the first of two trips to the state of North Carolina in a nine-day period.  Bradley will take on Western Carolina at 6 p.m. Tuesday, then after hosting Utah Dec. 4 in the second annual Mountain West-Missouri Valley Challenge Series, the Braves will return to the Tar Heel State for a Dec. 8 clash at #1 Duke.
