ST. LOUIS -- Bradley guards Sam Maniscalco and Chris Roberts caught the attention of the ESPN family of media outlets with their play in Friday's 81-62 victory versus Creighton in the quarterfinals of the State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Men's Basketball Tournament at the Scottrade Center.
Roberts was rewarded for the No. 2 play, or play 1B, in the SportsCenter Top 10 Plays of the Day for his follow slam with 16:11 remaining that gave the Braves a lasting lead. Bradley has advanced to the semifinals of the State Farm MVC Tournament for the fourth time in five years and will take on top-seeded UNI in Saturday's first semifinal game at the Scottrade Center. Both of Saturday's semifinal games will be televised on the MVC network (FS Midwest, Comcast SportsNet Chicago, FS Indiana, FS Kansas City and MetroSports), beginning with the 1:30 p.m. game between the Braves and Panthers.
