TIJOLA, Spain. - In a matchup of former Bradley big men, Zach Andrews and his CB Penas Huesca squad prevailed against Eddie Cage's Promobys Valle De Almanzora Tijola in four games to win the best-of-five championship series in Spain's LEB Silver Division Wednesday night.

Andrews contributed 19 points and four rebounds in Wednesday's championship clincher, helping Huesca rally from a 10-point deficit to start the fourth quarter for an 82-80 victory.  A third-year pro, Andrews made 7-of-11 field goal attempts in his 33 minutes Wednesday and averaged 14.0 points and 9.8 rebounds in the four-game Finals series while shooting 64.7 percent (22-for-34) from the field.

Cage, who wrapped up his eighth pro season, had six points and two rebounds in the final game, finishing the series by averaging 8.5 points and 1.8 rebounds per game.

Andrews and Cage are not the only former Bradley men's basketball players to compete for a professional championship this spring:  Marcellus Sommerville has reached the championship game of the French ProA Division with Cholet Basket, which will take on Le Mans Sarthe Basket for the league championship June 13 in Paris.  Sommerville is playing for a league title for the second consecutive year, after helping Dexia Mons-Hainaut to a runner-up finish in the Belgian D1 playoffs in 2009.

After Cholet dropped the first game in the best-of-three semifinal series versus BCM Gravelines Dunkerque Grand Littoral, Sommerville put up a pair of double-double performances in back-to-back wins to take the series.  The 6-foot-7 forward had 13 points and a season-best 13 rebounds in Wednesday's 83-73 equalizer, helping Cholet overcome a 17-point, second-half deficit on the road, then followed up with 12 points and 10 boards in Friday's 84-71 clincher.

Andrews and Sommerville both were members of Bradley's 2006 NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 squad.  Cage helped the Braves to NIT appearances in 1997, 1999 and 2001.
