PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley University students interested in competing for a spot on the 2011 Bradley Baseball team will get their shot Sept. 11 when the Braves host their annual walk-on tryout at O'Brien Field.

The tryout will begin at 2 p.m. Sept. 11 and players who plan to participate in the workout are required to be full-time Bradley University students meeting NCAA eligibility standards and must present proof of a physical within the last 30 days, including Sickle-Cell testing, as well as proof of medical insurance.  Physicals and Sickle-Cell testing may be done on campus at Bradley University Health Services, located in the Markin Family Student Recreation Center.
