PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley resumed second-round play at Michigan State's Fossum Invitational Sunday and turned in the seventh best round of the day to move into 14th place in the final standings at the rain-shortened, 36-hole event. All five Bradley players shot rounds in the 70's with senior Coby Thompson (East Galesburg, Ill./Knoxville), firing a two-over par 74 in the final round to help BU card a second-round 305.
Second-round play was suspended at 3:40 p.m. Saturday afternoon and was resumed at 9 a.m. Sunday morning at the par-72 Forest Akers West Golf Course. Originally scheduled for 54 holes, the tournament was shortened to 36 holes after play was suspended on Saturday.

Senior Nathan Perry (Normal, Ill./Normal West) fired his lowest round since shooting a final-round 76 at the 2008 D.A. Weibring Intercollegiate, shooting a four-over par 76 in the second round to finish 71st at 163. Freshman Daniel Young (Metamora, Ill./Metamora) finished one shot behind Perry in a tie for 72nd (164) after a final-round 78 and fellow freshman Kyle Gunther (Dunlap, Ill./Peoria Christian) carded a 79 to finish tied for 76th at 166.
