PEORIA, Ill. - Tickets for the Bradley men's basketball team's two preseason exhibition events in Renaissance Coliseum currently are on sale at the athletics box office and several more ticket-buying dates for the 2011-12 season are on the horizon.
Tickets for the annual Bradley Basketball Red-White Scrimmage Oct. 18, as well as the Nov. 1 exhibition game versus Wisconsin-Parkside are currently on sale at the Renaissance Coliseum Box Office (309-677-2625). Red-White Scrimmage tickets are $5 for the general public and free for Bradley University students, faculty and staff, all presenting valid identification at the time of purchase and the night of the game. Tickets for the exhibition game versus NCAA Division II Wisconsin-Parkside are $10 for the general public, $5 for Bradley University faculty and staff and $1 for Bradley students. The general public also may purchase tickets for the Wisconsin-Parkside exhibition game online at BradleyBraves.com or from any TicketMaster outlet.
The Red-White Scrimmage, featuring intrasquad play by both the Bradley men's and women's basketball teams, will cap a Bradley Athletics event doubleheader Oct. 18. The annual Bradley Athletic Benefit spaghetti supper will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Mitchell "J.J." Anderson Court in the Basketball Performance Center adjacent to Renaissance Coliseum. Athletic Benefit tickets ($10 for adults and $5 children) are available for purchase in advance from the Renaissance Coliseum Box Office or Bradley University Business Manager Ken Goldin's office in Williams Hall (677-3000).
Bradley students, faculty and staff also continue to have the opportunity to purchase tickets for the Nov. 16 game versus Southeast Missouri State, which will be played at Renaissance Coliseum as the first regular-season men's basketball game versus a NCAA Division I opponent on campus since 1982. Ticket prices are $10 for faculty and staff, $1 for general students and free for members of the Red Sea student support group.
Looking ahead to other significant dates on the Bradley Basketball ticket calendar:
Oct. 18: Red Sea members may pick up their 2011-12 men's basketball season tickets in the Nick and Nancy Owens Atrium at Renaissance Coliseum. The season-ticket packet will include a voucher for the Nov. 16 game against Southeast Missouri State, which must be exchanged for a game ticket.
Oct. 24: Bradley Braves Club members may begin to purchase tickets at the Renaissance Coliseum Box Office for the Nov. 16 game versus Southeast Missouri State. Tickets are $20.
Oct. 31: Carver Arena season tickets will be available for pickup in the Nick and Nancy Owens Atrium at Renaissance Coliseum. In addition, season-ticket holders will have the opportunity to begin purchasing tickets from the Renaissance Coliseum Box Office for the Nov. 16 game versus Southeast Missouri State and tickets will go on sale for the Nov. 8 exhibition game versus College of Wooster. While the Nov. 8 exhibition game is part of the Carver Arena season-ticket package, individual ticket prices for the game range from $8-20, based on location.
Nov. 7: Single-game sales will begin for all 2011-12 regular-season Bradley men's basketball games, including general public sales for the Nov. 16 game at Renaissance Coliseum. Single-game ticket prices for all non-Illinois State games at Carver Arena range from $8-20, based on location. Tickets for the regular-season finale Feb. 25 versus the rival Redbirds range from $8-22.
