LEMONT, Ill. -- For the second time in as many tournaments freshman Seth Trolia (Mahomet, Ill./Seymour) was Bradley's top finisher, tying for 22nd and helped the Bradley men's golf team tie for eighth in the 15-team field at the John Dallio Memorial Sunday.

Trolia closed out play at the par-72 Ruffled Feathers Golf Course with a final-round 78 to finish with a 54-hole total of 227 and tie for 22nd.  Sophomore Daniel Young (Metamora, Ill./Metamora) also turned in a third-round score of 78 and was four shots behind Trolia in a tie for 33rd at 231.

Freshman Danny Masrin (Palatine, Ill./Jakarta International School) fired the lowest round of the day for the Braves, carding a 77 Sunday.  Masrin was five shots back of Trolia and one behind Young in tie for 36th at 232. 

Sophomore Kyle Gunther (Dunlap, Ill./Peoria Christian) tied for 50th in the field at 237, following a third-round 84, while sophomore Travis Kreiter (Brimfield, Ill./Brimfield) rounded out play for BU with a final-round 80 and was tied for 64th at 248.

Florida Gulf Coast rallied from four shots down, carding an even par 288 Sunday to take the team title with a total of 873.  Missouri slipped to second in the standings at 876 and was followed by IUPUI (3rd - 897) and tournament-host DePaul (4th - 900).  Missouri Valley Conference foes Northern Iowa (902) and Drake (912) were fifth and sixth, respectively, with Western Illinois ending the two-day event in seventh at 915.

Bradley finished in a three-way tie with Wisconsin-Green Bay and Detroit for eighth at 923, while Eastern Illinois was five shots back in 11th at 928.  Loyola-Chicago placed 12th (933) and the duo of SIU Edwardsville and Marquette tied for 13th at 938.  Chicago State completed the field in 15th (1,014).

The Bradley men's golf team returns to action Oct. 24 & 25 at the SIU Edwardsville Invitational in Edwardsville, Ill.
