MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. -- Bradley scored a season-high 86 points and shot a season-best 49.2 percent from the field to rally for an 86-79 win at Central Michigan Saturday afternoon in the second contest of a three-game road swing.

The Braves (6-3 overall) improved to 4-0 in true road games on the year (5-1 including neutral site games) and picked up their sixth consecutive road win dating back to last year with the seven-point victory.  Bradley's six-game road winning streak is the team's first since 1977-78 and BU has won six straight road games against NCAA Division I teams for the first time in program history.

Senior Leah Kassing (Mt. Sterling, Ill./Brown County) turned in her second consecutive double-double with 22 points and a career-best 14 rebounds, while junior Katie Yohn (Elgin, Ill./St. Edward) helped pace four BU players in double figures with 21 points.

The teams went back and forth throughout the game with 10 lead changes and five ties in the first half.  Central Michigan (2-5 overall) took its largest lead of the game (53-47) with 12:15 to play after a Jalisa Olive three-pointer when Bradley answered with a 12-3 run.

Senior MacKenzie Westcott (Williamsburg, Iowa/Williamsburg) played just eight minutes in the first half following an eye injury, but returned to the court to play the entire second half and collected seven points, five boards, one assist and one block after the break.

Westcott made a pair of free throws to open the BU run and Kassing followed a CMU turnover with a put-back basket.  After an Olive free throw gave the Chippewas a 54-51 lead, Yohn answered with a three-pointer to tie the game midway through the second half.

Yohn knocked down her fourth three-pointer of the game after a Central Michigan layup and found Westcott for a base-line jumper to cap the run as the Braves went in front 59-56.

Central Michigan knotted the score at 59-59 on a Brandie Baker three-pointer, but senior Hanna Muegge (Hopkins, Minn./Hopkins) put BU ahead for good (62-59) with a three-pointer of her own with 7:54 to play.

Bradley's lead never slipped below three points the remainder of the game and the Braves made 11-of-12 free throws in the final 49 seconds to seal the road win.

Kassing made 10-of-15 shots from the field and finished one point short of a career-high with 22 points.  She also pulled down 14 boards to go along with one block and two steals in a career-best 33 minutes.

Yohn scored 15 second-half points and collected 11 points, two assists and a blocked shot in the final 10 minutes of the contest en route to a 21-point effort.  Freshman Shronda Butts (Des Moines, Iowa/East) turned in season highs of 15 points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals in her second straight start, while Muegge had a season-best 12 points.

Jessica Green led four Central Michigan players with a season-high 17 points and also snagged a team-high seven rebounds.  Baker and Oliver each added 15 points with Crystal Bradford had 14 points.

The Braves close out a three-game road swing Tuesday with a 5:30 p.m. game at SIU Edwardsville.  Tuesday's coverage on 1290 AM WIRL is scheduled to begin at 5:10 p.m.
