Women?s Tennis Wraps Up Fall Schedule At ITA Regionals

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Freshman Adele Henke (Edina, Minn. /Edina) had her three match win streak snapped as the Bradley Braves lost a 7-0 decision at IPFW Friday night at the Pine Ridge Racquet Club.

Bradley (2-6 overall) lost the doubles point to the Mastadons with IPFW (11-3 overall) taking all three matches.  Senior Nicole Miller (Glendale Height's Il. /Glenbard West) and Freshman Sarah Rodefeld (Carmel Ind. /Carmel) highlighted doubles play for the Braves with an 8-3 setback at # 1 doubles.

Henke's team-best three-match singles win streak came to an end with a hard-fought 7-5, 6-4 loss at #4 singles.  At #2 singles, Rodefeld 7-5, 6-1 to help highlight singles play for BU.

The Braves return to action Saturday facing Oakland in the last of three consecutive matches against Summit League opponents.  The match is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. (CST) in Fort Wayne, Ind.
