PEORIA, Ill. - Inclement weather throughout the Midwest has forced the postponement of Friday night's Missouri Valley Conference baseball series opener between Bradley (19-16) and visiting Evansville (20-14) at O'Brien Field.

With O'Brien Field co-tenant Peoria Chiefs also forced to reschedule their Midwest League series-opener with the Beloit Snappers to a noon doubleheader Saturday, Bradley and Evansville will start their doubleheader one hour after the conclusion of the minor league twinbill, approximately 5 o'clock.

The Valley rivals are scheduled to wrap up the weekend series with a 1 p.m. game Sunday at O'Brien Field.
