PEORIA, Ill. -- Former Bradley men's golf standout Dave Wettlaufer ('85) tied for 10th at the 2012 European Senior Tour Qualifying earlier this month and received conditional status for the 2012 European Senior Tour.

A member of the Missouri Valley Conference All-Centennial team, Wettlaufer is the only two-time All-MVC honoree in program history and is one of 16 players to earn medalist honors at the Valley championship twice. 

Wettlaufer turned in rounds of 71-71-75-68 to finish at one-over par 285 at the 2012 European Senior Tour Qualifying (Jan. 30-Feb. 2) at the Pestana Golf Resort's Vale de Pinta course in Apartado, Algarve, Portugal.  His 10th-place finish gave him conditional status for this year's European Senior Tour, which is scheduled to begin in May. 

Wettlaufer is currently the teaching professional at the Deer Ridge Golf Club in Kitchener, Ontario.
