WICHITA, Kan. -- Bradley held Wichita State to 34.6 percent shooting and scored 18 of the final 22 points of the contest to rally from behind for a 56-46 victory against Shockers Thursday.  Sophomore Catie O'Leary (Janesville, Wis./Parker/Wisconsin) had 15 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Braves.

Wichita State led by nine (35-26) with 12 and a half minutes remaining, before Bradley (15-14 overall, 6-11 MVC) locked down defensively and held Wichita State to 4-of-13 shooting in the final 12 minutes of the contest.  Jessica Diamond made all four of the Shocker hoops during that time to account for nine of WSU's final 11 points.

Bradley shot 52 percent in the second half and heated up down the stretch making 9-of-15 to close the game to score 30 points in the final 11:26 of the contest.  O'Leary, Shronda Butts (Des Moines, Iowa/East) and Latasha Hollingshed (Bellwood, Ill./St. Joseph/Illinois Central) combined for 26 second-half points and 23 of BU's final 30 points.

The Braves pulled even (24-24) early in the second half on an O'Leary three-pointer, before Wichita State used an 11-2 run to take its biggest lead of the game at 35-26.  BU forced three consecutive Shocker turnovers and pulled within two points (35-33) midway through the half on a driving layup by Butts.

The Shockers (17-11 overall, 11-6 MVC)  held a 44-42 advantage when sophomore Kelsey Budd (Prairie du Sac, Wis./Sauk Prairie) gave Bradley its first lead since the nine-minute mark of the first half with a three-pointer from the wing with four minutes to play.

Senior Leah Kassing (Mt. Sterling, Ill./Brown County) followed a Wichita State miss with a jumper in the lane and Hollingshed stretched BU's advantage to 49-44 with a layup.  After a Wichita State free throw, Butts made a pair at the line with 1:09 to play and Bradley made 5-of-6 free throws in the final minute to close out the win.

Both teams struggled offensively in the first half, with both squads making 8-of-25 in the opening 20 minutes.  The Braves took a 12-8 lead with 9:40 left in the period on a Hollingshed hoop, but went without a field goal for six minutes and Wichita State answered with a 10-1 run to go in front 18-13.  BU made 3-of-6 shots in the closing minutes of the period and trailed 22-19 at the break.

O'Leary was 8-for-10 from the free throw line and collected 15 points and a career-best 10 rebounds for her first career double-double.  Butts had 11 points, while Hollingshed had season highs of 10 points and six boards off the bench to help spark BU to the victory.

Diamond was one of two Wichita State players to score more than five points, finishing with a game highs 20 points and five assists.

Bradley closes out the regular season Saturday with a 7 p.m. game at Missouri State.
