CHICAGO - Tuesday's non-conference baseball game between Bradley (16-12-1) and Illinois-Chicago (12-17) has been rescheduled due to inclement weather in Chicago. The game will be made up as a 4 p.m. start Wednesday at Les Miller Field.
The Braves' visit to UIC is a return game from Bradley's March 21 home opener, which resulted in a 3-1 victory by the visitors. Bradley owns a 19-11 lead in the all-time series against UIC, but the Braves will be looking for their first win at Les Miller Field since 2005, a 5-3 win in 10 innings.
Senior lefthander Tory Doerr (1-2, 4.50 ERA) is scheduled to get Wednesday's start for the Braves against UIC right-hander Chris Hoffman (0-1, 6.04 ERA).
Bradley will return home to host league-leading Indiana State in a big Missouri Valley Conference series Friday (6 p.m.), Saturday (2 p.m.) and Sunday (1 p.m.) at O'Brien Field. Though the Braves begin the week in fifth place in the league standings at 3-3, Bradley is just 1.5 games behind the Sycamores.
