SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Jason Leblebijian hit a three-run homer in the ninth to force extra innings and Bradley scratched out a pair of runs across in the bottom of the 12th to pull even at 8-8, but Missouri State scored three runs in the top of the 13th to eliminate the Braves from the State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Tournament with an 11-8 victory Thursday afternoon.

Bradley (27-27-1 overall) rallied late in Tuesday night's victory against Missouri State in the opening round and overcame two late deficits to force extra innings, before the Bears used the three-run 13th to pull out the win.

With BU down to its last strike, Leblebijian made things interesting in the bottom of the ninth with a three-run home run to knot the score at 6-6.  Missouri State, which scored a run in the top of the ninth and had a runner called out for leaving early on a sacrifice fly, held a 6-3 lead heading to the bottom of the ninth.

A Missouri State error and Mike Tauchman single brought Leblebijian to the plate with the tying run.  With two outs and facing a 3-2 count, Leblebijian ripped a game-tying three-run homer to left to tie the game at 6-6.

In the 10th, Bradley had runners at first and third with one out after a MSU error to open the frame.  The Bears turned a double play to get out of the jam, however, and appeared to have momentum after scoring two runs in the top of the 12th to go in front (8-6) for the third time in the contest.

Leblebijian got things going for the Braves in the 12th with a leadoff single and moved to second on a wild pitch.  He scored on a single up the middle by Greg Partyka and pinch runner Andres Rodriguez later scored to tie the game at 8-8 on a single by senior Rob Elliott

Three of Missouri State's first four batters in the top of the 13th walked to load the bases and the Bears plated the go-ahead run on a sacrifice fly to center field.  Luke Voit added a pair of insurance runs with a two-run single through the left side to give MSU an 11-8 lead.

Grant Gordon (4-4), who pitched the final 4.1 innings for Missouri State and earned the victory, pitched around MSU's fifth error of the contest in the bottom of the 13th to close out the win.  Missouri State will play Southern Illinois later tonight.

Bradley used seven pitchers in the contest.  Starter Tory Doerr matched a season-high with four strikeouts in 5.1 innings of work.  Danny Gifford suffered the loss for BU.

Missouri State starter Pierce Johnson struck out 12 BU hitters and walked one in eight innings of work.
