PEORIA, Ill. – Bradley Athletics has announced a two-year corporate partnership with Herget Bank, which will be the presenting sponsor for the Bradley Braves Club Basketball Gameday Luncheons and Pregame Parties during the 2012-13 and 2013-14 basketball seasons.
“We are excited to welcome Herget Bank as the sponsor for the Braves Club Basketball Gameday Luncheons and Pregame Parties for the next two years,” said Bradley Director of Athletics Dr. Michael Cross. “These events bring together many of Bradley's most loyal fans and Herget Bank's sponsorship makes these high-quality social opportunities possible. We look forward to building our partnership with them.”
The Braves Club Basketball Gameday Luncheons, presented by Herget Bank, typically are held in the Bradley University Michel Student Center Ballroom and include a speaking program emceed by Voice of the Braves Dave Snell and remarks from men's basketball head coach Geno Ford. The luncheons also either feature that night's visiting team head coach, Hall of Fame inductees or other honored guests. Braves Club Pregame Parties are held in the Peoria Civic Center theater lobby prior to select men's basketball games. The Bradley Braves Club is planning four Basketball Gameday Luncheons and several Pregame Parties during the 2012-13 season with the exact dates to be announced this fall.
The Bradley Braves Club is the primary booster organization supporting Bradley Athletics. Both the Basketball Gameday Luncheons and Pregame Parties are among an extensive list of social events sponsored by the organization, a list that also includes the annual Bids-for-the-Braves dinner auction Sept. 22 at Par-A-Dice Hotel and the summertime Braves Club Golf Outing.
