ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Bradley women's tennis team
opened the dual match season quickly, by winning 2-of-3 doubles matches for the
day's first point, but host Northern Illinois rallied to win all six singles
point in a 6-1 victory against the Braves Friday afternoon at the Boylan Tennis

The Bradley
tandem of Sarah Rodefeld and Cassia Wojtalik teamed for an 8-4 win
at No. 2 doubles, while the Braves duo of Carly Miles and Kennedy Scott added an
8-5 win in the No. 3 spot to secure Friday's doubles point, but the Huskies
cruised to straight-sets victories in all six singles matches.
The Braves
will return to action with a pair of road matches next weekend, Feb. 2 at Saint
Louis and Feb. 3 at SIU Edwardsville.
Bradley will play a total of six matches away from home before opening
the home schedule Feb. 23 with a 10 a.m. match against Valparaiso at the Clubs
at River City.
