PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley Athletics has announced several promotions surrounding its upcoming men's and women's basketball games during the University's winter break period, including halftime entertainment, "Bring-A-Friend" ticket promotions for local Bradley students and free admission to weekend games for Little Braves Club members.
Halftime Promotions
Bradley has scheduled a quartet of halftime performances during four January men's basketball home games, beginning with a performance by the Jesse White Tumbling Team during the Jan. 4 Missouri Valley Conference home opener versus Drake. The popular Zooperstars will return to Carver Arena for the Jan. 8 game versus Missouri State, the Jan. 17 game versus Southern Illinois will feature a tribute to Peoria's All-America City award and the fan favorite Quick Change magic act will perform during the Jan. 22 game versus Northern Iowa.
Bradley Student "Bring-A-Friend" Promotion
Just as for the games when school is in session, Bradley University students may purchase tickets for the four men's basketball games during winter break for just $1, but as an added bonus during the break period, they also may purchase a second ticket for a friend for just $1. The $1 tickets are good for seating in the student section. The Bradley student "Bring-A-Friend" promotion applies to the men's basketball games Dec. 28 (South Florida), Jan. 4 (Drake), Jan. 8 (Missouri State) and Jan. 17 (Southern Illinois), all at Carver Arena, and there are no age restrictions on the friend (parents welcome).
In addition to the $1 men's basketball tickets, Bradley students will receive free admission to the three women's basketball home games during the break with the same $1 "Bring-A-Friend" opportunity. The promotion applies to the women's basketball games Dec. 29 (DePaul), Jan. 10 (Missouri State) and Jan. 12 (Wichita State), all at Renaissance Coliseum.
Valid Bradley University identification must be presented and limit one "Bring-A-Friend" price per student. Additional tickets start at just $8.
Free Little Braves Club Weekend Tickets
Members of the Little Braves Club may receive free admission to each of the men's basketball season's five remaining weekend home games. The free tickets must be claimed in advance by returning an online form, claiming the ticket in person at the Renaissance Coliseum Ticket Office or by calling the Bradley Athletics Ticket Office at 309-677-2625. The tickets are good for admission in Carver Arena's upper bowl "Red" seating sections and additional tickets in the section are available for just $8.
