PEORIA, Ill. – Bradley Basketball fans throughout Central Illinois will start seeing the Braves on local television as the team closes out the non-conference season Saturday and throughout the Missouri Valley Conference campaign.

WAOE, My59, will be the primary home of Bradley Basketball telecasts, though a number of different stations available to Central Illinois viewers will carry Bradley games throughout the league season. In addition to the 2013-14 season of The Geno Ford Show, which will air at 10:30 a.m. Saturday mornings beginning this week, WAOE will air four of the nine Bradley men's basketball games MVC games to be televised this winter.

Six of Bradley's nine road games will be televised, while a seventh game (Feb. 6 at Loyola Chicago) will be produced for streaming on ESPN3 and an eighth (March 1 at Drake) could be added to Valley's television package as part of the MVC Wildcard Weekend. Only the Feb. 1 game at Missouri State is not currently included in the television production menu.

While working with WAOE for a second consecutive year, Bradley Athletics also has maintained its long-standing television relationship with Central Illinois PBS affiliate WTVP, which will broadcast the Jan. 29 men's basketball home game versus Interstate 74 rival Illinois State on its main channel, as well as both games in the women's basketball series against the Redbirds on WTVP World (47.2 over the air and Channel 218 on Comcast cable in Peoria).

Bradley will be featured in four MVC-TV broadcasts and those games will air on FOX Midwest and Comcast SportsNet Chicago in the Peoria market, as well as FOX Indiana, FOX Kansas City and FOX College Sports with streaming video available on ESPN3 outside the states in the Missouri Valley Conference footprint. The first game scheduled for the MVC package is the league opener Jan. 1 at Northern Iowa.
