Bradley will open its 62nd Missouri Valley Conference season Wednesday when the Braves visit Northern Iowa for a rare New Year's Day game at McLeod Center. The Braves will be trying to snap a season-long, six-game losing streak at a location where they have lost six in a row.

• Bradley will open its 62nd Missouri Valley Conference season Wednesday when the Braves visit Northern Iowa for a rare New Year's Day matchup.
• In 110 years of Bradley Basketball history, Wednesday's game will be just the 16th played on Jan. 1 and just the third New Year's Day road game in Braves history.
• Bradley is 9-6 all-time on New Year's Day and 1-1 in road games with the lone victory coming in the program's first-ever game, a 12-8 win in 1903 at the YMCA Invicibles.
Series History
• Wednesday's game will be the 51st in the all-time series, which Bradley leads 27-23.
• The Panthers have had the upper hand of late, winning four straight and 14 of the last 18 against Bradley since the start of 2006-07
• UNI is 15-7 at home against Bradley and has won six straight home games in the series.

• In 110 years of Bradley Basketball history, Wednesday's game at UNI will be just the 16th game for the Braves on New Year's Day and the Braves are 9-6 in their previous Jan. 1 games.
