2013-14 Bradley Basketball Game Notes
Game 10 | IPFW (7-4) at Bradley (5-4)

Bradley returns home Tuesday night to host first-time opponent IPFW at Carver Arena for one of just three home games during the month of December.  The Braves will be trying to snap a 2-game overall losing streak and will look to avoid consecutive home losses for the first time since a 3-game home skid to end the 2011-12 season.

Tip-Off
•  Bradley returns home Tuesday to host IPFW in one of just three December home games for the Braves.
•  Bradley will not host another home game until South Florida visits Carver Arena Dec. 28, a season-long, 18-day gap between home contests.
•  Bradley is looking to avoid consecutive home losses for the first time since a 3-game home skid to end the 2011-12 campaign.
•  Bradley has won four straight games at Carver Arena and seven straight non-conference tilts in downtown Peoria.

Series Information
•  Tuesday's game will be the first-ever men's basketball meeting between Bradley and IPFW.
•  Tuesday's game will be Bradley's second straight home game against a Summit League member.
•  The Braves are 34-9 all-time against the Summit League's 8-team membership, including 27-3 at home against those eight teams.
•  The gaudy record against the Summit League was stained in Bradley's last home game, though, a 72-66 loss to IUPUI Dec. 4 at Renaissance Coliseum.

Ford Looking For 150
•  Third-year Bradley head coach Geno Ford is in his ninth year overall as a collegiate head coach.
•  Ford enters Tuesday's game with a 149-115 (.564) career record in his ninth season as a head coach, leaving him just one win shy of 150 in his career.

Tough Schedule Gets Tougher
•  Bradley's first nine opponents have combined for a 48-37 (.565) record.
•  None of Bradley's final four non-conference opponents have winning percentages below .636 through Sunday and the quartet has combined for a 26-10 (.722) winning percentage.
•  Bradley's 13 non-conference opponents have combined for a 74-47 (.612) record to date.
•  Using year-by-year results on espn.com to research, the current .612 winning percentage by Bradley's 13 non-conference opponents is the best W-L percentage by Bradley's non-conference foes since at least 2000-01 (the last 13 seasons are available on the website).
•  In an apples-to-apples comparison of records through Dec. 8, the current .612 winning percentage of this year's 13 non-conference opponents is the best by Bradley's opponents at this point of the season since 2006-07 (.620) and tied for the second-best (2004-05) in the 13-year available window of records.

Simple Concept
•  It is pretty easy to see the difference between Bradley's wins and losses through the first quarter of the season.
•  When the Braves make shots, they win.
•  In the five wins, Bradley has shot 51.6 percent from the field, 35.6 percent from 3-point territory and 72.9 percent from the free throw line.
•  In the four losses, Bradley has shot 37.7 percent from the field, 16.9 percent from 3-point range and 69.6 percent from the free throw line.
•  Four of Bradley's five coldest shooting games of the season have been the four losses.

Chart Climber
•  Senior guard Walt Lemon, Jr. has climbed to 21st on Bradley's all-time scoring list with 1,301 career points entering Tuesday's game against IPFW.
•  Lemon needs just six points to pass Jeremy Crouch (1,306) for the 20th position on Bradley's all-time scoring list.

Looking Ahead
•  Following Tuesday's game, Bradley will take a break in its game schedule for Fall semester final exams, which begin Thursday and continue through Dec. 18.
•  The Braves will return to action Dec. 20-21 by participating in the South Point Holiday Classic in Las Vegas, where the Braves will face West Coast Conference foes Portland (Dec. 20) and Pacific (Dec. 21) at the South Point Arena and Equestrian Center.
