Bradley is one of three Missouri Valley Conference teams competing in the 2013 CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament, a 32-team tournament that will be contested by squads from 18 conferences, according to an announcement of the field by the tourney organizers Sunday night.
The Braves (16-16) will host Green Bay (18-15) in a 7 p.m. first-round game Wednesday at Renaissance Coliseum. Tickets start at $20 for Wednesday's game, while group tickets are available for as low as $12, and may be purchased in advance at the Bradley Athletics Ticket Office
(309-677-2625) at Renaissance Coliseum, all TicketMaster outlets and online at BradleyBraves.com. Group tickets may be purchased by contacting Joe Dolan at
(309) 253-8136.
In addition to the ticket prices, Bradley fans are reminded free parking will be available all over the Bradley campus (the school is on spring break this week), including the Main Street Parking Deck adjacent to Renaissance Coliseum. A concessions combo also will be available for $9 (two hot dogs, 1 popcorn and two beverages).
Second-round CIT games will be played Thursday-Saturday, but pairings will not be determined until the completion of the first round Wednesday night. Geography is a priority in setting the second-round pairings, however, and the Bradley-Green Bay winner is expected to face another Midwestern-based team. If Bradley advances Wednesday night, it most-likely would face the winner of the Chicago State-UIC game, while a victorious Green Bay squad most-likely would face the North Dakota-Northern Iowa winner.
