Leading Off
• Bradley continues its pre-conference travels by visiting Dayton, Ohio for the first time in program history and four games in the Dayton/Wright State Classic.
• Though Bradley owns a 3-2 record against both of the weekend's co-hosts, Friday's game at Dayton and Saturday's doubleheader at Wright State will be the first-ever road games against the Flyers and Raiders as all 10 previous games against the two opponents were played at neutral sites.
• Bradley will wrap up the Dayton/Wright State Classic with a single game Sunday against Bryant, the fifth first-time opponent of the season.
• The Braves enter the weekend second in the Missouri Valley Conference with a .286 team batting average, tied for second by averaging 6.0 runs scored per game, first with 23 doubles and tied for first with six home runs.
• But Bradley's pitching staff is last in The Valley with an 8.52 earned run average and the Braves are last in the league with a .940 fielding percentage
• Junior designated hitter Greg Partyka has started hot in 2013, batting .450 with five doubles, a home run and 13 RBI's while reaching base safely via a hit, walk or hit-by-pitch in each of the last 10 games.
